Rolling Together: Reflections on the 2025 Bike Ride
The 2025 Million Dollar Bike Ride was one to remember — full of sunshine, smiles, and the incredible energy of a community coming together for a cause that means so much.
This year, we were thrilled to have three Love Never Sinks board members riding in person, joined by friends and supporters from near and far. We were especially excited to welcome back Dan, who joined us for another year of riding and inspiring everyone with his dedication and spirit.
One of the highlights was teaming up again with our amazing sister group, Amor y Fuerza Lesch Nyhan, who brought the heart and spirit of Mexico to the ride with their own local event. And over in Chicago, Peggy’s family and friends showed up in a big way, creating their own ride full of love, laughter, and community.
And as if the ride needed another reason to feel meant-to-be — the rain held off! We were grateful for beautiful weather that matched the warmth of the people who showed up to support.
Together, we raised over $6,000 — funds that will go directly to support families affected by Lesch-Nyhan and help grow our research readiness program. Every dollar brings us closer to more answers, more support, and more hope.
But beyond the numbers, it was the smiles, the stories shared, and the connections rekindled and newly formed that made this ride unforgettable. Friends old and new reminded us why we do this work — and how powerful we are when we ride together.
